Banner advertising

All advertising on the site (be this in the form of leaderboard, skyscraper, vertical or horizontal banner advertising) and sponsored content from third-party organisations is differentiated from our own editorial content by the following:

  1. All our banner advertising has the word 'Advertisement' in a tab at the top of every individual banner.
  2. All content that is supplied by a sponsored organisation is highlighted at the top of the section.

In no way does banner advertising on the site impact on, or influence, the editorial content or the neutrality of the text on YourSurgeryAbroad.com.

Plus and Advanced Clinic Profiles

Clinics, hospitals and medical treatment providers that are listed on YourSurgeryAbroad.com can upgrade and enhance their profiles by purchasing either a Plus or Advanced Clinic Profile. This allows providers to highlight photos, videos and more content on their services.

We ensure all users of YourSurgeryAbroad.com know which providers have upgraded to a Plus or Advanced Clinic Profile by changing the colour of their profile from white to green, and by adding the words "Sponsored content" on the profile.

All information (images, videos, editorial text, prices, etc) on Plus and Advanced Clinic Profiles are supplied by respective providers. All content is moderated by staff at YourSurgeryAbroad.com to ensure the content is of an acceptable standard to the users of the website.

Advanced Clinic Profiles are displayed above all Plus and Basic Profiles and are randomly ranked per every page impression. This ensures all Advanced Clinic Profiles receive equal exposure at the top of search results.
