Being such a large and varied landscape, the weather also varies widely, although it does get quite cold in winter (December through to March) all over. But if you're a snow bunny then this may be the perfect time for you with countless quality ski resorts to choose from.

Visas are not required by those from the USA, UK, Australia and much of Europe for visits of up to six months. However, for those non USA visitors, some nationalities may need to apply for a visa if also travelling to the USA and return to Canada within the period of their initial entry allowance.
