Germany is located in Western/Central Europe and has a population of 82.6 million people. Known for its beer and hearty cuisine, Germany also offers some beautiful landscapes and a number of large cities, entertaining nightlife and rich history. The national language of Germany is German, although some English and French are also spoken.

Visitors from the USA, Canada and Australia do not require a tourist visa for visits of up to 90 days within a six-month period. EU nationals can stay for an unlimited amount of time, but if staying longer than three months they must register with the German authorities.
