Slovenia is located in Southern Central Europe and has a population of 2 million people. Slovenia is one of the smallest countries in Europe but is still packed full of adventure with the Alps on one side and the Adriatic coastline on the other, and rich forest in between. The official language of Slovenia is Slovene, and most people also speak German, Hungarian or Italian. English is considered a second language for most.

Slovenia has a continental climate with warm summers and cold winters. There is more of a Mediterranean climate on the coast.
